Jewelry Boxes

Upon seeing my turnings at a craft fair, a customer asked if I would make her a jewelry box. My first thought was to make a traditional, rectangular box with compartments inside. But I'm primarily a turner, so my customer and I decided on the design below as a turned jewelry box. It is essentially a lidded bowl, with the wood grain in a faceplate orientation (not endgrain). The dividers are made of MDF (medium density fiberboard), and the entire inside is sprayed with flocking.
